Diet Coke is a product, a sugar free soft drink and distributed by the Coca Cola Company. that has been established since 1982 the brand celebrates its 30th anniversary this year (2013).

That has been used in Diet Coke's famous advert in 1996 which started the Diet Coke Hunk theme.

The diet coke hunk model in this advert “American Fashion Designer” ( Marc Jacob) flaunts his rippling physique as the new “Hunk” for Diet Coke.
Marc Jacobs plays a role as well as a creative director for the diet drink and designed a new diet coke bottles and cans in award to celebrate the brands 30th anniversary.


Commercial attention:


Diet Coke is bringing back The Hunk -. The initial adverts became an instant phenomenon and create interesting stories. The advert stars Marc Jacobs.

The advert starts with three females come across a photo-booth that keeps taking pictures of an handsome, shirtless man with a background soundtrack by Etta James “I just want to make love to you”. Without them paying any attention that the diet coke hunk was the famous American fashion designer Mar Jacobs. Getting women attention from all around the globe as Marc Jacobs played the sexy hunk role.



Target:

Diet coca cola is targeting females customers through their adverts as it reflects how women's attitudes to men have changed. since the drink was established in 1982 all of the adverts campaigns have been planned to show the empowerment of women.
